Bemmy guides strategy and programmatic development, holding co-leading roles in global initiatives including 1000 Landscapes for 1 Billion People and Regen10. She serves as senior editor of the CABI Multifunctional Landscapes journal and teaches sustainability at California State University, Northridge. She was Director at EcoAgriculture Partners, Associate Director at UCLA’s Center for Community Engagement, and Manager of Conservation International’s Food Security Initiative. Bemmy holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Planning and Policy from UC Irvine, M.S.E.S. and M.P.A. degrees from Indiana University and a B.A. in Environmental Studies from the University of San Diego.
