Integrated Landscape Finance Guidelines

Across the world, landscape partnerships have developed ambitious strategies to address climate change, biodiversity loss, food security, and rural livelihoods. Yet many struggle to move from vision to implementation because the financial systems needed to support long-term, landscape-scale transformation are often missing.

The Integrated Landscape Finance Guidelines were developed to help close that gap. Rather than focusing on individual projects or funding opportunities, the Guidelines present a practical framework for designing the financial strategies, institutions, investment pathways, and partnerships needed to mobilize and coordinate long-term investment across an entire landscape. Whether you are a landscape partnership, government agency, investor, donor, or technical partner, this resource provides practical guidance for translating shared landscape priorities into financeable action.

Developed through RegenerAction, Future Food Institute’s initiative to advance regenerative territorial development, and supported by EIT Food, the publication reflects the collective expertise of leaders in integrated landscape management, finance, and systems transformation.
